Xampp control panel 1.8.3 for mac

I've looked navigated to the terminal and can ping google ns ok on 8.8.8.8 so the comms are there but all lookups to the domain fail e.g. I've got my website loaded ok but it can't access the internet.

I've started using xampp for macOS version 7.5.2.
